Steps to Follow in order to Register as a Gem Seller

It is possible to divide the registration process into three steps that will be described below with your help.

  • Step 1: Visit the GeM website which is the platform for GeM seller registration. For that you have to type GeM official website on google and it will lead you to GeM portal or you can directly click here for GeM portal Coming to the first step of the process, as stated above, it is mandatory to visit the GeM gov in site, once you have all the required documents in place. You will have to go to the seller tab then on the sign up in order to start the process in the site. After that the user should clear them and will be directed to the terms and conditions of the site which he or she is urged to read before clicking on the accept button. The next step for the GeM portal tender sign-up is the filling of the form.
  • Step 2: Enter your details in the form correctly. After clicking on the terms and conditions you have to fill a form that is GeM registration form and fill it with the correct information. The following information would have to be filled in the form.
  • • The name of the organization which is seeking to get registered in the GeM portal for login.
  • • Then you would have to choose the kind of registration and then proceed to fill some of the details like name, PAN number, date of birth, GeM registered, and the correspondence address and other related information.
  • • The mobile number is the next one. It is advisable to select a number which is linked with your Aadhar number as it will help you in the process and make it easier for you to go through the process. You have to confirm the number and to do this you have to enter the OTP which will be sent to the provided number. After doing that, it will verify the number and associate it with your account.   • Step 3: Verify the information Once you have signed up for an account, you will be able to access features such as bid on GeM, GeM tender, GeM registration direct purchase and the GeM L1 process (Some of them are only available for government officers). This could only be done if one had to confirm all the information that are needed in the registration process. Some of these features may be configurable based on the type of account and the person or organization creating the login at GeM registration and the documentation will not change.
